The owners wished a strong and vigorous solution and were concerned about solving the real problems of the site -- essentially that of being able to enjoy the spectacular view and yet being able to live comfortably with the great variations in strength and quality of light. A great deal of effort went into developing a reasonable sun and light control system and every effort was made to handle this in the most straightforward manner possible.
