Residence
The most dramatic view, across a valley to the mountain opposite, lies to the northwest. Rather than open up the entire wall to this view, with all the sun control problems this would present, a narrow view window was placed in the one corner of the living room wall. This not only provides an opening in the wall which requires no interior shielding, but also gives a view of the mountain which changes continuously as one moves from one part of the room to another.
