Botsford
Residence
The lot is a gentle slope, more or less to the southwest, a difficult orientation in this part of the world, but with a view of protected watershed land that would never be built on. Although the lot was an acre and a third, it was a rather long, narrow down slope shape and the cross slope space was just on the edge of being tight. There were magnificent oak trees, some particularly handsome deciduous oaks in a perfect position to give summer shade but let the winter sun through.
